From: Feb 16, 2008 To: Feb 16, 2008 Centennial Hills Park. The park is located at Buffalo Drive and Elkhorn Road. 10 AM to Noon. This inter-generational event, which won a program excellence award from the Nevada Recreation & Parks Society in 2005, will feature several free contests, including smallest and largest dog, best dog trick and owner/dog look-alike match. Families can participate in face painting and games, tour a fire truck and receive fire hats, meet KVBC-TV 3 Meteorologist John Fredericks and his dog LJ, take a family photograph, and be fingerprinted by the deputy city marshals. Starbucks will offer refreshments, and the Animal Foundation will offer pets for adoption and licensing information. |
