After you request a service, one of our pet care coordinators will meet with you to learn about your schedule and needs. They will then choose primary and backup Fetch! sitters that they believe are a good fit for you and your pet/s. You will have the opportunity to meet with the chosen sitters either virtually or in person. If you decide that they are the right pet sitters for you, we will assign them as the primary and backup sitters on your account. Anytime you request a service, the primary pet sitter will be the one watching your pet. If the primary sitter is unavailable the secondary sitter will take their place.

We require debit/credit card payment if you are scheduling service via our My Fetch! App. Any other accepted payment can be worked out with your specific Fetch! location.

Yes, our sitters keep daily journals recording eating and bathroom habits, exercise activity, and the mood and temperament of your pet.

All of our dog sitters, cat sitters, and other pet sitters go through a standard background so that we can ensure they are fit for the job. In addition, we conduct a personality-focused interview where we evaluate if a candidate truly has a passion for pets and people.

You will not be charged until after the service has been completed.

Specific cancellation policies vary by location, but if a cancellation occurs within 24-48 hours of the visit you may be charged up to 50% of the service fee. This is done to compensate the sitter for lost time as most visits are scheduled days in advance.

We understand that life isn’t always predictable. Flights get delayed, trains get missed, and drives take longer than we initially planned. If you are unable to get back home in time to give your pet the care it needs, just let us know. We’ll make sure your pet is safe, happy, and healthy whenever you’re able to make it back.
